Methodology
This page explains how FEESAVE picks what to cover, how we verify pricing and other claims, what our status labels mean, and how we handle mistakes.
What we cover
We start with products that have transparent, publicly documented pricing — mainly software and digital services with an official pricing page. That makes claims checkable by anyone, including you: every price we publish links back to the official source it came from.
How we verify a claim
Every factual claim on FEESAVE (a price, a plan limit, a discount) is tied to at least one source — usually the vendor's own pricing or policy page, captured on a specific date. We label each claim with an outcome:
- Source-supported — directly confirmed by an official source.
- Partially verified — partly confirmed, with a specific gap we note (for example, an exact discount percentage the vendor doesn't publish as a number).
- Unverified — not yet checked against a source.
- Conflicting sources / Disputed — sources disagree; we say so instead of picking one silently.
We also track whether a claim is still current — pricing pages change, so each claim has a "last checked" date and a review-due date. A claim that's overdue for re-checking is marked as such on the page, rather than left looking as current as a freshly verified one.
What we don't claim
If we haven't confirmed something — a refund policy, a rate limit, real-world usage over time — we say it's not yet verified instead of guessing or implying we tested it. We'd rather publish a shorter, honest article than a longer one padded with assumptions.
Affiliate disclosure
FEESAVE may earn a commission if you sign up for a product through some links on this site, at no extra cost to you. This never changes what we publish or how we describe a product — see About for more.
Corrections
Prices and policies change, and we sometimes miss things. If you find an error in a FEESAVE article — an outdated price, a broken source link, a plan detail that's changed — message us on Telegram with the article URL and what's wrong. We review corrections against the source and update the article (and its "last checked" date) once confirmed.
